David and I met on March 9, 2006. My cousin, Tiffany and her husband, Matt introduced us. They worked with David and had been trying to convince me to meet him since November. I was a little hesitant about being set up on a blind date. However, by February I had been convinced and we made a Date for March 9 at Matt and Tiffany's house. We were inseparable after that night.

On December 16, 2007, after only a few months of dating, David asked me to marry him in front of Mom's entire family. I had no clue what was about to happen. Everyone else had been in on it the entire time. I opened a box thinking that a gift card for our favorite restaurant was in it, but it was an engagement ring instead. And the rest is history.

We are having a very traditional Catholic ceremony at a small church on the campus of LSU with a beautiful reception to follow. This is going to be the wedding I have always dreamed of. We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

There are several hotels around the area of our reception site. Calloway Inn, Chase Suites and a Red Roof Inn. All are on or around Sherwood forest.

David and I are so excited to begin our journey together and we would love for you to be a part of that.
